Grate the sweet potatoes and finely chop the onion and garlic cloves.

In a large bowl, combine the grated sweet potatoes, frozen peas, chopped onion, chopped garlic cloves, chickpea flour, turmeric, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper.

Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Take about 1/4 cup of the mixture and flatten it to form a fritter shape.

Place the fritter in the frying pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Remove the cooked fritters from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to remove any excess oil.

Repeat steps 5-7 with the remaining mixture.

Serve the sweet potato and pea fritters hot with a dipping sauce of your choice.
