Boil the potatoes until tender. Peel and mash them.

Finely chop the onion, green chili, and coriander leaves.

In a mixing bowl, add the mashed potatoes, chopped onion, green chili, coriander leaves, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, and rice flour. Mix well.

Divide the mixture into equal-sized portions and shape them into flat round cakes.

Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the potato cakes until golden brown on both sides.

Remove from the pan and drain excess oil on a kitchen towel.

Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
