  1. Peel and chop the sweet potatoes, onion, and garlic cloves.
  2. In a large pot, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the sweet potatoes, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  4. Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender.
  5. Remove from heat and blend the soup until smooth using an immersion blender or a regular blender.
  6. Return the soup to the pot and stir in the coconut milk and lime juice. Heat on low until warmed through.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
