  1. Rinse the lentils and set aside.
  2. Peel and chop the sweet potatoes, onion, and garlic.
  3. In a large pot, heat some oil and sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the sweet potatoes, lentils, vegetable broth, turmeric, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the pot.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the lentils and sweet potatoes are tender.
  6. Use an immersion blender or transfer the soup to a blender to puree until smooth.
  7. Stir in the coconut milk and lime juice.
  8. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro. Enjoy!
