Cut the broccoli into florets and blanch them in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Add the blanched broccoli florets to the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
