Rinse the lentils and set aside.

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Add onion, garlic, carrots, and celery. Sauté for 5 minutes.

Add rosemary, tomatoes, and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and add lentils. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Add spinach, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
