Rinse the rice under cold water.

In the rice cooker, add the rinsed rice, frozen peas, vegetable broth, chopped onion, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

Close the rice cooker and set it to the 'Cook' mode.

Once the rice cooker switches to the 'Keep Warm' mode, let the risi e bisi rest for 5 minutes.

Open the rice cooker and fluff the rice with a fork.

Serve the risi e bisi hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley.
