Peel and grate the potatoes.

Finely chop the onions.

Squeeze out the excess water from the grated potatoes.

In a mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes, chopped onions, all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, and water to form a thick batter.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan.

Take a spoonful of the potato batter and drop it into the hot oil.

Flatten the batter slightly using the back of the spoon to form a pocket shape.

Fry the pockets until golden brown on both sides.
