Pan-Roasted Butternut Squash

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Peel and remove the seeds from the butternut squash. Cut it into 1-inch cubes.

In a large bowl, toss the butternut squash cubes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and fresh thyme.

Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned butternut squash cubes to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20 minutes, or until the squash is tender and lightly browned.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Garnish with additional fresh thyme if desired.
