  4. Add tamarind pulp, salt, and water as required. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
  7. Serve the onion chutney with dosa, idli, or any other Indian dish.
