In a food processor, blend the okra, tofu, onion, garlic, egg, miso paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add breadcrumbs. Mix well.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.

Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Toast the burger buns.

Spread miso sauce on the bottom half of each bun.

Place a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, and a cucumber slice on top of the miso sauce.

Place a cooked burger patty on top of the vegetables.

Cover with the top half of the bun.
