  2. Add the vanilla extract and plant-based milk to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  3. Allow the dough to rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or pot for frying.
  5. Take small portions of the dough and shape them into doughnuts.
  6. Carefully place the doughnuts into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Remove the doughnuts from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  8. Dust the doughnuts with powdered sugar.
