  3. Add the soaked navy beans, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, thyme, bay leaves, vegetable broth, tomato paste, salt, and black pepper to the pot.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour or until the beans are tender.
  5. Remove the bay leaves and garnish with chopped green onions and parsley.
  6. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
