Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the cooked green beans to the skillet and stir in the Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the beans are coated in the mustard mixture.

Remove from heat and let the green beans rest for 5 minutes before serving.
