Grate the carrots and finely chop the onion and garlic.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked sorghum, grated carrots, chopped onion, chopped garlic, chickpea flour, tamari sauce, ground flaxseed, and salt. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.

Shape the mixture into burger patties using your hands.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.

Toast the burger buns in a separate pan.

Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf, tomato slice, avocado slice, and a cooked sorghum patty on each bun.
