  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, and green onions. Stir-fry for 1 minute.
  3. Add carrots and peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Push vegetables to one side of the wok and add Doubanjiang. Stir-fry for 1 minute.
  5. Add cooked brown rice and tamari or soy sauce. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until rice is heated through.
  6. Drizzle with toasted sesame oil and season with salt and black pepper. Stir-fry for another minute.
  7. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
