In a mixing bowl, add whole wheat flour, carom seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, and oil. Mix well.

Add finely chopped onions to the flour mixture and mix again.

Gradually add water and knead to form a soft dough.

Divide the dough into small portions and roll them into round rotis.

Heat a tawa or griddle and cook the rotis on both sides until golden brown.

Apply ghee or oil on both sides of the rotis and cook again until crispy.

Serve hot with yogurt or pickle.
