Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.

Add kale and cook for 5 minutes.

Add vegetable broth, potato, carrot, celery, salt, and black pepper.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Stir in lemon juice.
