Rinse and drain the adzuki beans.

In a pot, boil the adzuki beans until tender.

In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan, sauté until golden brown.

Add kale and cook until wilted.

Stir in cooked adzuki beans, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Cook for another 5 minutes, allowing flavors to blend.
