  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, and cook until onions are translucent.
  2. Add rice and Italian seasoning to the pot, stirring to coat the rice in the oil and seasoning.
  3. Pour in vegetable broth and tomato sauce, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, or until rice is tender.
  4. Drain and rinse the cannellini beans, then add them to the pot. Stir to combine, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
