  3. Add chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, and garlic. Saute until onions turn translucent.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well.
  6. Add soaked rice, salt, and water. Mix gently.
  7. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
  8. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
