Wash the lentils and soak them in water for 15 minutes.

Peel and chop the mango, onion, tomato, garlic, ginger, and green chili.

Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and green chili. Sauté until onions turn translucent.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.

Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Mix well.

Drain the soaked lentils and add them to the pan. Stir well.

Add chopped mango and water. Mix well and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes or until lentils are cooked.

Add salt, lemon juice, and fresh cilantro leaves. Mix well.
