Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Saute until golden brown.

Add curry powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add chopped Chinese cabbage and stir-fry for 5 minutes.

Add water, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Remove the lid and cook for another 5 minutes to dry out any excess liquid.

Serve hot with rice or bread.
