Homemade Whole Grain Crackers
Crackers were originally created as a way to preserve bread dough and extend its shelf life during long voyages at sea.
This is vegan and gluten free recipe. Dish can be prepared in 45 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 8.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

Drizzle in the olive oil and gradually add the water while stirring until a soft dough forms.

Divide the dough into two equal parts and roll out each portion into a thin rectangle on a floured surface.

Transfer the rectangles onto the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle sesame seeds on one rectangle and poppy seeds on the other.

Using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife, cut the rectangles into small crackers.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crackers are golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let the crackers cool on a wire rack.

Once cooled, break the crackers along the cut lines and store in an airtight container.
