Homemade Nutella (Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread)
Nutella was created in the 1940s in Italy during World War II when cocoa was in short supply, and hazelnuts were added to extend the chocolate supply.
This is vegan, gluten free and quick meals recipe. Dish can be prepared in 25 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 6.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and spread the hazelnuts on a baking sheet. Roast them for about 10 minutes, or until the skins start to crack.

Remove the hazelnuts from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Rub the skins off using a clean kitchen towel.

Place the hazelnuts in a food processor and blend until they turn into a smooth paste.

Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt to the food processor. Blend again until all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is creamy.

Transfer the homemade Nutella to a jar or airtight container and store it in the refrigerator.
