In a large skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.

Add the tomato paste, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and water. Stir well.

Add the canned beans and mix until well combined.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil.

Bake for 45 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
