Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and diced onion, cook until softened.

Drain and rinse cannellini beans, then add them to the pan. Stir in vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.

Strip kale leaves from the stems, chop them into bite-sized pieces, and add them to the pan. Cook until kale is wilted.

Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir in lemon juice.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
