  1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly.
  2. In a blender, blend spinach, cilantro, green chilies, garlic, ginger, and lemon juice to make a smooth paste.
  3. In a large pan, heat olive oil and add the spinach paste. Cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the rinsed basmati rice, salt, and water to the pan. Stir well.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pan. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender.
  6. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
