Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 5 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Drain and set aside.

In a small pan, toast the pine nuts over medium heat until golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.

In the same pan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add the toasted pine nuts, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to the pan. Stir to combine.

Add the cooked green beans to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.

Serve hot as a side dish.
