Trim the ends of the green beans and blanch them in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Add sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook for 5 minutes until they release their moisture.

Add the blanched green beans to the pan and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
