Bring a pot of salted water to boil. Add the green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.

Drain the beans and transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain again.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the green beans and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Add the lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Continue to sauté for another 2 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
