Trim the ends of the green beans and blanch them in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Drizzle soy sauce over the green beans and season with salt and black pepper.
