Granola Bars
Granola bars were originally invented as a health food in the late 19th century by Dr. James Caleb Jackson, who called them ‘Granula’.
This is vegan and gluten free recipe. Dish can be prepared in 95 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 9.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, almonds, cashews, dried cranberries, chia seeds, and salt.

In a small saucepan, heat the honey, peanut butter, and vanilla extract over low heat until melted and well combined.

Pour the honey mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until everything is evenly coated.

Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press it down firmly.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the baking dish.

Once cooled, cut into bars and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
