Granola was originally invented as a health food in the late 19th century by Dr. James Caleb Jackson, who called it ‘granula’.

This is vegan and gluten free recipe. Dish can be prepared in 40 minutes. Even a beginner can handle preparing this dish. Number of ingredients: 10.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, honey, coconut oil, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, stir in the dried cranberries.
  7. Store in an airtight container.
