Granola was originally invented as a health food in the late 19th century by Dr. James Caleb Jackson, who called it ‘Granula’.

Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).

In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, almonds, pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes, honey, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Mix well.

Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown, stirring occasionally.

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

Once cooled, add the dried fruits and mix well.

Store in an airtight container.
