Gluten-Free Doughnut Holes
Doughnut holes were invented in 1847 by a ship captain named Hanson Gregory who didn’t like the undercooked centers of regular doughnuts.
This is vegan and gluten free recipe. Dish can be prepared in 55 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 10.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour blend, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In a separate bowl, combine almond milk, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).

Using a small ice cream scoop or spoon, drop small portions of dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

Remove the doughnut holes from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Allow the doughnut holes to cool for a few minutes.

Roll the doughnut holes in powdered sugar until coated.
