Coconut is not actually a nut, but a fruit!
This is vegan and gluten free recipe. Dish can be prepared in 50 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 7.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, shredded coconut, coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.

Press the mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.

Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.

Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled cookie bars.

Allow the chocolate to set before cutting into bars.
