In a food processor, blend garbanzo beans, onion, garlic cloves, bread crumbs, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Shape the mixture into patties.

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

Toast the hamburger buns.
