Cook the fusilli pasta according to package instructions.

In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced red onion and minced garlic cloves. Cook until softened.

Add cherry tomatoes and cook until they start to burst.

Stir in garbanzo beans and baby spinach. Cook until spinach wilts.

Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the pan. Mix well.

Add lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Toss to combine.
