Fried puffball mushroom
Puffball mushrooms are also known as ‘giant puffballs’ and can grow up to the size of a soccer ball.
This is vegan, gluten free, low carb and quick meals recipe. Dish can be prepared in 25 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 6.

Clean the puffball mushrooms and slice them into 1/2 inch thick pieces.

In a shallow bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Dip each mushroom slice into the flour mixture, coating it evenly.

Place the coated mushroom slices into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Remove the fried mushrooms from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
