Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine tamari sauce, liquid smoke, maple syrup, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.

Add edamame beans to the bowl and toss until well coated.

Arrange the edamame beans in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in the preheated oven for 3 hours, flipping halfway through.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes.
