Peel and slice the carrots.

In a pot, add water, carrots, salt, and black pepper.

Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low.

Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until carrots are tender.

In a small pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat.

Add sesame seeds and toast until golden brown.

Remove from heat and let it cool.

Once the carrots are cooked, remove from heat and drizzle with soy sauce.
