Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Sauté until onion is translucent.

Add curry powder, turmeric powder, and cumin powder. Stir well.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.

Add drained chickpeas, coconut milk, and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer.

Season with salt and black pepper. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
