  3. Add the sliced lotus root and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Cover the pan and let it cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or bread.
