Soak the yellow split peas in water for 4-6 hours. Drain.

In a blender, grind the soaked split peas to a coarse paste.

In a large bowl, combine the ground split peas, flour, turmeric powder, cumin, coriander, salt, and water. Knead to form a soft dough.

Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a thin circle.

Heat a griddle or frying pan over medium heat. Cook each circle of dough on the griddle, brushing with oil on both sides until golden brown.
