Soak the split black lentils and red kidney beans overnight.

Drain the water and rinse the lentils and beans.

In a pressure cooker, add the lentils, beans, chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, grated ginger, minced garlic, chopped green chili, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, and salt.

Add enough water to cover the ingredients.

Close the pressure cooker and cook on medium heat for 4-5 whistles.

Let the pressure release naturally.

Open the pressure cooker and give it a good stir.

Heat ghee in a pan and add the cooked dal mixture.

Cook for a few minutes until the flavors blend well.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
