Cut the butternut squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Peel the squash and cut it into 1-inch thick slices.

In a small bowl, combine the paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

Place the butternut squash slices on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the squash.
