Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside.

In the same skillet, add onion and garlic. Saute until onion is translucent.

Add green beans, chicken broth, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
