Corn and squash are two of the three main crops in the traditional Native American agricultural system known as the Three Sisters, along with beans.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Cut the corn kernels off the cob.

Slice the yellow squash and red bell pepper into thin strips.

In a large bowl, combine the corn, yellow squash, red bell pepper, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

Place the vegetable mixture on a grill pan or foil-lined grill grates. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender and lightly charred.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle with fresh cilantro and drizzle with lime juice. Serve hot.
