Keema is a popular Indian dish made with minced meat, but this vegetarian version replaces meat with tofu for a delicious and nutritious alternative.

  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add chopped onion, green chili, ginger, and garlic. Saute until onions turn translucent.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
  4. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Pour in the coconut milk and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Add fried tofu and garam masala. Mix gently and cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  8. Serve hot with rice or roti.
